HomeHero Assist

HomeHero's mission is to make running a home easy.

HomeHero streamlines the move-out and move-in process, setting up new homes, covering void and opening up a marketplace of services for residents.

HomeHero Assist increases Property Manager revenues, improves their communication experience with tenants via intelligent AI, increases tenant lifetime value (LTV) and reduces the hassle of void periods where properties are left empty.

Summary

HomeHero Assist was an ongoing project and one where we were aiming to add increased value to Property Managers over time. Our initial offering (v0.9) was a simple portal that enables import of customer data, set up of new properties (or import via API), initiation of void period takeover and finally set up of internet and energy utilities as well as automated notifications to council tax and water companies to change the tenancy.

Version 0.9 (Interim update)

HomeHero Assist (v1.0) would allow Property Managers freedom to manage their properties in a unified interface, looking after tenant queries as needed or just observing the core interactions that have taken place. HomeHero OS' smart AI underpins the entire platform, automating and handling the majority of tenant queries without the Property Manager having to lift a finger. The AI is capable of reducing Property Manager intervention in 80% of situations, enabling speedy response to the resident and reduced friction for the Property Manager.

I was fortunate to be the lead designer of the HomeHero Assist platform, building out the entire project from initial idea to execution across multiple iterations and prototypes. I consistently worked in close proximity with some of the engineers across backend and frontend to ensure our designs always reflected reality as well as having the freedom to define the platform spec, success criteria and even code some of the frontend.

I was entrusted to lead the research, planning and execution of multiple core squad projects from singular feature implementation through to the entire product interface and experience.
